ActiveXperts Network Monitor Active Directory monitoring
ActiveXperts Network Monitor is a software solution you need to scan your network servers, workstations and devices for failures or irregularities. With ActiveXperts Network Monitor, you can identify issues and fix unexpected problems before your others even know they've happened. ActiveXperts Network Monitor maximizes network availability by monitoring all aspects of your servers, workstations, switches, routers, printers and any other devices. It can also detect temperature, humidity and other environmental aspects in your server rooms.
ActiveXperts Network Monitor allows monitoring groups and group membership.
Unexpected members in particular groups (for instance: unexpected Domain Admins members) are not allowed, Network administrators are notified when an unwanted user is entered as a member.
You can also configure ActiveXperts Network Monitor to monitor user accounts (locked out, disabled, etc.), groups,
group membership, organizational units, and more.
An ActiveXperts Users/Group check requires the following parameters:
Domain - The Active Directory domain. In case you want to monitor a stand-alone server (i.e. a server not member of a domain), you can enter the computer name;
Group - The group name to the Active Directory group you want to check, like: Domain Admins;
Users - Specify the names of the users that are allowed in the specified group. If the groups appears to have members who are not entered in this 'Users' field, the check will fail.
